Traditional Stainless Steel

How to clean traditional stainless steel

  • Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the oven and cooktop are cool. Always follow label instructions on cleaning products.

  • To avoid damage to the finish, do not use soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive or harsh cleaners, any cleaning product containing chlorine bleach, steel-wool pads, gritty wash cloths or certain paper towels.

  • Food spills containing acids, such as vinegar and tomato, should be cleaned as soon as the entire appliance is cool. These spills may affect the finish.

To clean and care:

  • Spray affresh® Stainless Cleaner on a Micro-Fiber Cloth.

  • Wipe the stainless steel in the direction of the grain to avoid damage.
