Using the Control Lock on Your Amana Dishwasher

How to set the Control Lock:
- Identify the Control Lock button on your dishwasher's control panel, which may be labeled as 'Control Lock' or represented by a padlock icon.
- Press and hold the Control Lock button for approximately three seconds. You will hear a beep or see a light illuminate, indicating activation.
- If the Control Lock feature has been enabled, the Control Lock light will flash three times, indicating that it is activated. Press the button for the dedicated key to activate or deactivate Control Lock. To turn off the Control Lock, press the Options key labeled "Control Lock Hold 3 Seconds" for 3 seconds.
Once activated, the control panel will be unresponsive to touch, and a light indicator will usually remain lit to signify that the Control Lock is engaged, confirming secure settings.
